Are you looking to relocate to Arizona? Do you need to know which cities are the best to look at for relocating? Arizona has a lot of nice choices for you to live in and it is just a matter of choosing the best one for you and your needs.

Ranked number 36 out of the top 100 cities to live in is Gilbert, Arizona. There are a lot of things to do in this town and they feature a three day event every year that features a variety of things such as a rodeo, a parade and a carnival. Gilbert is said to be a very safe city and is located about a half hour out of Phoenix. You can truly have the feeling of a small town and it is perfect for raising a family. There is such a variety of things to do in Gilbert that you will never be at a loss for entertainment.

Coming in second is Scottsdale, Arizona that ranked number 71 out of 100. Scottsdale is most widely known for its vast majority of golf courses, shopping centers and fine dining establishments. This is the perfect town for visitors to enjoy or for you to decide to stay for the long haul. The climate in Scottsdale is perfect for those who enjoy hiking since it is so dry. There are a lot of retired individuals who head toward Scottsdale every year to make it their retirement community. The views that this town has to offer are truly magnificent and something that you will remember for a lifetime.

The third best city to live in Arizona is Tucson. The crime rates are fairly low in comparison to the national average so, you have peace of mind in knowing that you are safe. There is a wealth of restaurants that are available to you to choose from, over 1,400 to give you an idea how many. There has been a significant amount of job growth in Tucson so, you should be able to find a job with no problem. Considering the fact that the job growth has went up by around 7 percent in recent years your chances are excellent of having job security.

A lot of people are worried about temperatures in Arizona but, in Tucson the average high temperature in the summer is 99 degrees. There are other areas that reach well over 100 degrees on a steady basis so to be below that is pretty good. In the winter the low temperature is around 37 degrees so, even at the coldest it is not that awful.

There are a lot of other cities in Arizona to look into for living accommodations. It is really going to depend on where your job is located and what you are looking for in a place to live. Only you can decide what is the best option for you but, hopefully you have some idea of where to look for your next move.

If you live in Arizona, or looking to move there and you are just plain in love with parks, then there are not too many other places that are more beautiful than Arizona. Arizona however is known to somewhat typically have mild winters and of course, hot summers, but the state does change climates during certain times of the year. The summer months are usually between June and September, while the spring months are usually between February through May and the weather is usually packed with warm days with somewhat of a cool breeze during the nights.

There are a total of six parks in Arizona that are considered to be great and somewhat the best, there are three states parks and three national parks that are very popular among residents and tourist. Three of the best national parks located within the state of Arizona, that seem to have popularity are; Saguaro National Park, The Grand Canyon and The Petrified Forest. The Saguaro, the smallest of the others is made up of mostly forest land area and can be accessed through either side of the city of Tucson. The eastern part of the forest park is made up of the Rincon mountains which is known to stand over 8,000 feet. The Grand Canyon, which is known throughout the entire United States (and world), is known for its great sites, but during the winter months, some areas are blocked. The Grand Canyon stretches about 200 miles along the Colorado River. The north and south side drives make great for summer travel. The Petrified Forest is known to be a colorful forest park, historical and archeological structures that stretch over 200 million years.

The best state parks in Arizona; Tonto Natural Bridge State Park, Dead Horse State Ranch Park and Fort Verde State Historical park are known as the best parks for the spring Arizona months. The Tonto Natural Bridge State Park contains one of the most largest bridges in the world which is about 183 feet high and stretches about 400 feet long. The history of the bridge dates back to thousands of years and David Gowan was known for the bridges exploration. Visitors will love standing on the bridge and engage in hiking below it. Over the years, the bridge has undergone some major restoration. The Dead Horse State Ranch Park is known to be over 423 acres and accounts for over 3,000 feet of elevation. Hiking and all sorts of marine sports can be done here. The park is also known to have a six mile river known as the Verde River Greenway. April is one of the best times to visit because the park holds its well known nature festival and last, the Verde State Historical Park, honors the “History of the soldier” making a commitment to all those who have served and protected the Armed Forces. The park held its 50th anniversary in 2007.

If you are looking to buy a home in Arizona, school districts are very important to look into especially if your children had trouble at the last school they were at. It is a good idea to narrow your choices down to the top three best school districts you could find either on the Internet, by word of mouth, or checking them out for yourself. Once you narrow your choices down, you can check out the neighborhoods in those districts and you can check out the cities those schools are located in.

If you decide to look at school districts on the Internet, there are places you can go to find ratings that people have submitted for certain school districts. You have to remember that this is just a reference, and it is always exceptional to check them out for yourself. You could put your child in a school district where a family member is already going there, and they have told you that it is the best place and in a good neighborhood.

All of the advice that people have given you, either on the Internet or word of mouth, is great to hear but you want to do the best thing for your child. Narrowing it down to the top three that you like so far makes it easier because all you have to do is look at each of the cities to find out which one suits you and your family the most.

Make sure that each neighborhood has positive feedback, and it is where you can see all of you living for many years. Since you may have young children, you should see if any of those neighborhoods have a park where your children can meet other children. That would make you feel more comfortable knowing your children have made new friends before they start school.

You also want to see if the cities have places close by the neighborhood you may be checking out because it is not easy to drive long distances to go to the grocery store, the dry cleaners, or the mall especially if you want to pick up your children from school. You may also have other specific preferences that you want to check out if you are having your real estate agent show you around.

If you have children of different age groups, you want to narrow down your top three school districts by making sure that all of your children would be happy going to school there. The high school may have a better reputation than the middle school or elementary school so you would not want to choose that district. You have to feel good about sending your children to their schools in the top three districts you are choosing from.

Phoenix is the capital city of the state of Arizona. It is also the biggest capital city and the fifth biggest city in the entire US in terms of land area. More than a million people call Phoenix home. And a huge number are planning to the relocate to the “Valley of the Sun.”

People choose to reside in Phoenix for a number of reasons. Here are the top 5 reasons for moving to Phoenix Arizona.

1. Climate. Phoenix has an enviable climate that is sunny all year round. The Sonoran Desert, where Phoenix lies, enjoys 300 days of sunshine per year. This means more opportunities for outdoor fun and adventures for the residents in the place. The city is warm even during the colder months with temperatures rarely going below 40 degrees F in winter. Rainfall is scarce, usually just 15 percent average days every year.

2. Scenic Places. Phoenix is blessed to be surrounded by breathtaking sceneries. The famous Grand Canyon is found in Arizona, close to Phoenix. Other popular tourist destinations within close range are Colorado River, Monument Valley, Painted Desert and so many others. Tourists travel far and wide to be able to see these scenic spots. Residents in Phoenix have year round access to these natural wonders.

3. Employment Opportunities. The huge metropolitan is home to seven of Fortune 1000 businesses. There are numerous telecommunication and technology companies located in Phoenix. The temperate climate even in winter is very attractive to tourists. The tourism industry in Phoenix is alive and bustling. Entertainment, resort and golf industries are also benefiting from the rising number of tourists flocking to the place.

The rising demand for real estate in the place also provides many job opportunities for employees in the construction industry. The housing boom helps spur the economy of the city.

4. Amenities. Phoenix is a business, transportation and educational hub in Southwestern US. It has some of the major public universities such as the Arizona State University with more than 64,000 students enrolled in 2007.

The living environment in Phoenix is convenient with schools, business establishments, recreational and resort facilities located at close range. The different health care facilities in the place are also top notched. Its 190 golf courses spread all over the place is another reason why people love to stay in Phoenix. The mild climate is also very attractive to retirees paving the way for the development of a number of retirement facilities in the city.

5. Low cost of living. The homes in Phoenix are reasonably priced. Taxes in the city are low. The interest schemes in mortgage loans are also affordably priced. And the amenities and various facilities are less expensive compared to other major cities. This is why the cost of living in Phoenix is also relatively low considering the vast opportunities that the city provides.

The US housing crisis that begun early in 2008 affected many homeowners across most major cities and states. Among these, the state of Arizona worse among the worst affected and drew the brunt of the crisis. In major cities such as Phoenix, many homes have been foreclosed by the banks and values of homes have sunk to historic levels. But now, according top observers and players in the industry, the home prices have hit rock bottom and projections are that prices will start to pick again with 2012 approaching.

Arizona is a fairly decent state with many continental and international visitors making forays into the state annually. Most visitors to the state wish to holiday here and enjoy the warm sunny climate as well as the many outdoor activities offered by the state. There are plenty of great locations for mountain climbing, hiking, picnicking, camping fishing and basically enjoying the outdoors. This particular fact about the state provides investors and home buyers with good reason to be optimistic.

Arizona home prices are so low that the only way now is up. Prices are expected to go up within the New Year as the US economy shows signs of recovery. Banks may begin to short sales as they hold on to plenty of properties. This means that bankers are allowing home owners to sell their homes for less than what they owe. This is already happening in Phoenix. Interestingly though, short selling in Phoenix usually results in house prices going up. Basically this is because short selling tends to fetch a better market price than the foreclosed homes sold by banks.

Numerous reports have indicated large numbers of Canadian investors purchasing property in Phoenix. Canadian investors are taking advantage of the current low market prices in the housing sector in Arizona and have been buying property for as low as $50,000. This speculative purchase of property is based on the notion that prices will soon go up and that there will be renters willing to pay about $900 – $1200 per month for the properties. This, to Canadians, is a pretty good return on their investment.

There are other investors, mostly local companies that are buying up properties at historic low house prices and fixing them up with the hope of reselling them later at much higher prices. Banks have also ceased foreclosing properties as this tends to reduce the prices of other investments in the area and instead tends to short selling. While short selling implies that a homeowner loses their home, it means the home will fetch a better price than if it were foreclosed. It will also hurt the homeowner’s credit ratings much less than a foreclosure would.

The short selling is expected to see home prices go up within the coming months. And with an expected rise in tenants, commercial activity and bargain hunting investors, the only way up for homes in this state is up.
